Nikon, Cannon, or iPhone? Why and Why Not?
There are a lot of similarities between the Canon EOS RP and the Nikon Z50, but a few important differences as well. They are both entry-level mirrorless options that come in at less than $1,000 and feature the newest lens mount from each manufacturer. The main difference between the two brands is the autofocus. With Canon, all the EOS lenses have autofocus since they were developed in the 80s. Meanwhile, only Nikon AF-S lenses developed during the same era have autofocus.
How about an iPhone?
In this Instagram and TikTok age that we live in, the photos that we take are likely just going to end up on social media within a short period of time. The biggest advantage of using an iPhone is definity the convenience factor. Imagine that you’re always ready to capture a beautiful photo at a moment’s notice.
However, adjustments are limited and much slower on iPhone than the buttons and dials on interchangeable lens cameras.
If you want to take your photography more seriously, either as a hobby or for professional reasons, you should definitely get a digital camera.
